Q. Can you please tell me how long will my order take to be delivered?

At Charnwood Safety Footwear we endeavour to deliver your order right away. Your order will normally be delivered to you in 3-5 business days from date of order by our courier City Link. We do not use the postal service so there is no disruption to your delivery service. 90% of all orders are picked and packed within 24hrs of ordering, please note that business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Our strong relationships with our suppliers mean that we at all times try and offer our customers a good service. We at all times endeavour to adhere to our delivery schedule and our aim is to provide our customers with quality products and good prices together with a trust worthy reliable service.

Q. If the items that I have ordered do not fit what can I do?

If you wish to exchange your purchase for a different size or style all you need to do is go to our contact us area and go to the returns and exchanges page fill out the form with as much information as possible, stating your unique order reference number, contact details, item you are returning and details of what style and size you wish to exchange for. You will be then issued, by return email, a returns note along with instructions on how to return the items.There is no restocking charges for exchanges. here

Q. When do I pay for my items?

All payments are made by the customer at the point of order. We are different to a lot of companies, as our available on line items are updated constantly. This means the items you see on our website are available for sale and should be delivered within our advertised delivery schedule. If there is a discrepancy with the items you have you have ordered we have a honest worry free policy. We automatically refund your chosen payment method and send you an email explaining the reason. Unlike our competitors who take advance payments for items they do not have and leave customers waiting for weeks for products.

Q. Do you post the items by Royal Mail?

We as a company do not use Royal Mail. The costs we charge for carriage are for a signed for courier service. This is a far more reliable and more secure service than the postal service. We also believe that we should offer our customers a delivery service that is secure and reliable as it is your purchase and we should try at all times to send your products on a service which benefits you.

Q. I am having trouble receiving emails from you they keep going into my Spam Box?

We do communicate with our customers via email. We strongly recommend that you add us to your Safe List. Unfortunately sometimes emails do go into the Spam boxes. We recommend that you check your Spam Box on a regular basis. Some Internet Service Providers Spam Filters are set very high, we cannot be held responsible for this. Adding us to your Safe List reduces the possibility of any emails from us going into Spam Boxes.

Q. I need an update on my order, what is the best way to contact you for an update?

We recommend that you go to our contact us page and fill in the delivery update form, this is a more effective way of contacting us for delivery updates.
When contacting us you need to provide as much information as possible including your Order Reference number, Contact details, Items ordered, Address Details etc. The more information you provide the faster the response. All emails are responded by a member of our Customer Services Team, we endeavour to respond to emails within 24hrs. This is not always possible due to peaks in demand for our products and services. But we always do our best.

Q. I am a bit nervous using my credit card on the internet how secure is your payment method?

Our secure payments are provided by WorldPay secure payments to ensure that when you complete your purchase you are using one of the most secure online payment systems available today. WorldPay is a trusted and secure method for purchasing on line using Credit and Debit cards. The WorldPay is a secure portal that is trusted and used by many leading companies like ourselves and is also recommended by many of the leading banks. We have recently upgraded to the new 3D Secure system which significantly reduces the risk of fraudulent transactions.
